Equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) are high up on the agendas of Highways England and Scotland.

Highways England’s increased engagement with people and stakeholders means they have set EDI ambitions, goals and objectives which have been running since April 2020. Having signed the Diversity and Inclusion Charter, Highways Scotland are actively championing diversity and work against racism and discrimination in all its forms within the transport sector.

This event will look at the impact boosting diversity will bring to the highways and how they will continue to promote inclusion in the industry.
