With Highways England’s commitment to have 300 additional miles of digital motorways rolled out by 2025, it is important to consider what they are and how drivers use them safely. Using traffic management methods to increase capacity and reduce congestion in particularly busy areas, digital roads minimise environmental impact as well as cost and time by avoiding the need to build additional lanes.

This event will look into the benefits of digital roads, the implications on drivers and what the transformational qualities of digitalisation in highways.
