Every day countless decisions are being made regarding the strategic road network. Both Highways England and Scotland, as well as the wider road sector, need to deliver roads which not only serve a purpose but are also each examples of excellence.

This event will explore how design decisions affect the quality and appearance of highways and what is being done to ensure that highways can make a difference to the experience of road users and the communities through which the roads pass.
